PL 19, 836B富に富む者は、金持ちではない。貧しく乏しい者も不幸ではない。一方が他方より多く欠けているわけでもない。金持ちは宝石を欠き、貧しい者はケレスの賜物〔穀物〕を欠く。だが二人とも欠けているのだから、貧しい者の乏しさのほうが少ない。
